Health and Nutrition Links 
Golden Retrievers and Newfoundlands as all dogs need constant care and attention, I could go on and on writing about health issues and nutrition, but there are soo many good informative sites on the net that I find it best to send you looking in the right direction, the links listed below are sites I use when I need to find any information regarding the health and nutrition of my dogs.
Also it is a must that you have a good relationship with your Vet and that you are confident of his/her professional opinions, so choose your vet wisely, and if you are not satisfied with the service you receive, go to another one until you find THE right Vet for your dog.. I would like to take this opportunity to mention the Veterinarian’s and their staff I have come to know and trust here in New England. They are:

I would like to acknowledge a wonderful professional couple who I relied on and trusted the care of my Maritime Golden Retrievers from 1990 thru 1997 these would be doctors Edward & Gail Dykstra DVM of Alicia Veterinary Clinic in Laguna Hills California. Both Ed & Gail have retired from practice. A very warm heart felt “thank you” for always being there and respecting me and my judgment as a dog breeder. I was so fortunate to have been associated with you and the friendship we shared as well.
